Requirements for LPC-Associate Licensure in Texas
To begin supervision, you must:
Earn a Master’s degree in Counseling or Psychology with board-approved coursework
Pass the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and Texas Jurisprudence Exam
Secure an LPC-S supervisor and sign a supervision agreement
Submit your application to the Texas LPC Board (processing typically takes 4–6 weeks)
